For the second time this season, Freshman Chiara Volejnicek won the series deciding match to give the Panthers the 4-3 win. She had previously done it against now No. 17 South Carolina. This time was versus FGCU's Laura Falceto Font in a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 match. She fell to Brittany Lindl of Tennessee Saturday morning 1-6, 3-6. The Swiss native is now 5-2 this season in singles competition.

Versus Tennessee, the Panthers lost the doubles point after Volejnicek/Ramirez lost the final match in a close 7-5 decision. In singles, GSU lost three matches in straight sets, but showed resiliency in pushing the other three matches to tie breakers and winning two of those.
