Panthers Set to Host UAB Tuesday Night

ATLANTA – Georgia State men's soccer takes a break from Sun Belt play to host UAB in its final non-conference match of the season Tuesday night at the GSU Soccer Complex.
 
The Panthers have teamed up with Play4TheCure to "Play4" loved ones affected by cancer and encourages fans to actively participate in fundraising and advocacy to make a difference. Fans can make donations online or at Tuesday's match at the marketing tent. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to cancer research.

SCOUTING UAB
- UAB returns to the pitch after a 1-1 draw with Lipscomb on Tuesday night. Kevin Wallace scored the lone goal of the match for the Blazers.
- Sophomore midfielder Blake White leads the Blazers with four goals and eight total points this season.
- As a team, UAB ranks third in Conference USA and 50th in Division I men's soccer with 5.71 corner kicks per game.
- Saturday will be the 21st all-time meeting between Georgia State and UAB. The Panthers lead the series 10-9-1 but lost the most recent outing against the Blazers 4-0 in 2018.

LAST TIME OUT
- Georgia State earned its first conference victory of the season Saturday afternoon, topping Coastal Carolina 1-0 with a late goal from Tristian Jumeau.
- Jumeau's goal was his first of the season, becoming the eighth different Panther to net a goal for GSU this year.
- In goal, Paul Tyson recorded three saves and his fifth clean sheet of the season, the most among all keepers in the Sun Belt.
- Saturday was Georgia State's third straight victory over Coastal Carolina and the first time since 1981 the Panthers defeated CCU in Conway.
