GSU Continues Long Road Stretch with a Trip to Florida

The Panthers are set for their fifth consecutive weekend on the road

ATLANTA- The Panthers are back on the road this weekend as Georgia State women's tennis heads to the Sunshine State for a pair of  matches. GSU will face Florida on Saturday at noon before battling UNF Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Georgia State (2-5) will look to snap a two game losing streak after a tough road trip in Iowa last weekend. Florida holds a 2-2 record, falling to two top-10 opponents. While UNF (5-1) fell to Florida last weekend, picking up their first loss of the season.  

Georgia State's Mara Pop and Andreea Stanescu both delivered impressive performances last weekend. Pop earned her first collegiate dual match win with a straight set victory over her opposition from Iowa State. Stanescu's win over William & Mary marked her fourth win of the season at the No. 5 position.
