Tresham and Gordon Look to Keep Winning Streak Alive

The pair will look to add to their four-game winning streak as the Panthers head to the Creekside Beach Classic

*GSU will battle St. Leo, Coastal Carolina, and College of Charleston
*The Panthers are 5-3 on the young season going into this weekend's action

ATLANTA- Becky Tresham and Maddie Gordon are coming off a perfect 4-0 performance last weekend at the Stetson Spring Fling. The pair defeated their opposition from No. 7 Stetson and No. 18 FAU before downing St. Petersburg and St. Leo. This weekend as the Panthers take the road again, the duo will look to add three more to the win column.

No. 17 GSU will play a trio of duals in Charleston, S.C. The weekend will be highlighted by a showdown with CCSA foe College of Charleston after facing two other programs.

Georgia State will begin the weekend on Saturday with a dual against St. Leo. The Panthers faced the Lions last weekend, defeating them 5-0. In the afternoon session, State will face off against Coastal Carolina, who enters the weekend with a 7-1 record.

Sunday will see the Panthers tested by College of Charleston. The Cougars go into the weekend winless after opening the season with tests against four top-20 programs.

Tresham and Gordon have a team high 7-1 record in action this season, playing on lines four and five. The pair played together last year, notching a 22-10 record during their 2019 campaign.

As a team the Panthers enter the weekend coming off a 2-2 performance at the Stetson Spring Fling. In the first eight matches of the season, GSU has earned two 5-0 sweeps.
