ATLANTA -- Georgia State men's tennis (14-6) will close the regular season hosting UNC Wilmington on Sunday morning at Horseshoe Bend Country Club.
Georgia State is coming off a 4-2 loss to No. 48 Middle Tennessee on Friday night. The Panthers jumped to the early lead with victories from No. 55 Harvey Maughan and Kevin Huynh and No. 86 Roberts Grinvalds and Andrei Duarte in doubles play. Mihai Marinescu picked up a win in singles action to add to the GSU point total. The loss ends a 10 match winning streak by GSU this season.Â
The Panthers will meet an UNCW squad which holds an impressive 11-4 record this season. The Seahawks come to Atlanta on a three match winning streak with decisions over South Carolina State, Gardner-Webb, and College of Charleston.
