ATLANTA - After earning a win over top-20 Stetson last weekend, No. 18 Georgia State will travel to South Carolina to battle three opponents, including a rematch with the Hatters, at the College of Charleston.
GSU will open the weekend's action Saturday with a morning meeting with Tusculum for the first time in program history. First serve is slated for a 9:30 start time. Next the Sandy Panthers will face No. 19 Stetson at noon. Georgia State will look to improve upon the program's 6-7 overall record against the ASUN competitor.
The following day GSU will square-off against host College of Charleston. The dual has a 9:30 a.m. scheduled start time. This will mark the first time that the two program's have met this year. During the shortened 2020 campaign, GSU defeated the Cougars 5-0.
The Panthers have accumulated a 15-9 record this season including four wins over ranked opposition. Three pairs have surpassed the 10-win mark this season. Angel and Bella Ferary lead the team with 12 victories, primarily splitting time between the No. 4 and No. 5 court. Eden Hawes and Maddy Delmonte and Mattie Johnson and Olivia Stasevich have both registered 11 wins for the blue and white this season.
