Guest's Hat Trick Leads Panthers to 4-0 Win

Box Score ATLANTA – After a scoreless first half, Georgia State's Justin Guest put on a second half show to lead the men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over UNC Asheville on Tuesday night at the new GSU Soccer Complex.

Guest recorded a hat trick in less than seven minutes to lead Georgia State (3-1) to a third-straight win. The three goals were his first three of the year.

Guest got the Panthers on the board in the 64th minute and then struck again thanks to an assist from Simon Carlson just 97 seconds later.

Less than three minutes later, Max Wilkins found the back of the net off a block from the UNCA goalkeeper to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead.

Guest got his third goal of the night after being taken down in the box and was awarded a penalty kick which found the back of the net in the 71st minute of play. Guest finished the night with five shots including four shots on goal.

Georgia State outshot UNC Asheville (1-3) 23-6 while controlling the ball for 61 percent of the time on the clock.

Panther goalkeeper Gunther Rankenburg pitched a second shutout of the season while making a pair of saves.
