Panthers Enter Second Week of 2023 Competition Facing Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee

ATLANTA— Georgia State women's tennis hits the road this weekend with a pair of matches facing Lipscomb and Middle Tennessee in the team's second weekend of spring 2023 competition. First-year head coach Le'Trone Mason and the Panthers began the 2023 season last week with a battle against uptown opponent Georgia Tech at Ken Byers Tennis Complex on Friday.

GSU fell short in the season opener and looks to rebound following the loss as the team prepares for the back-to-back matches in Tennessee on Friday and Saturday. Despite the 7-0 defeat, newcomers Maria Paredes and Michelle Ncube saw action for the first time competing for the Panthers and will look to make an immediate impact for the team after playing the second and third singles court positions last Friday.
