Boston, MA— Kayli Williams and Kenya Walker led the Panthers to two second place finishes in the Crimson invite at Harvard on Friday.
Kayli Williams finished second overall in the 60m hurdles with a personal-best 8.45-meter distance.
Kenya Walker also finished second in her event, finishing with a 56.37 time in the 400-meter event.
Jada McBean led the Panthers in the 60-meter event, finishing fifth overall with a personal-best 7.50 time. Blake Blakemore followed in 12th with a personal-best 7.56 time. She placed 10th in the qualifiers with a 7.64 time to secure her spot in the finals.
Noteables:
> Valissa Brown recorded a personal-best 8.40 time and finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles.
> Toni Eason finished eighth in the triple jump with a season-best 11.48 distance
> Camari Ellis placed 12th in the qualifying round with a 7.66 time to secure her spot in the finals. She finished the event with a 7.69 time.
The Panthers are back in action Feb. 3 as they travel across Boston for the Scarlet and White Invite at Boston University
