ATLANTA— The No. 16 ranked Georgia State beach volleyball team (2-2) travels to Tallahassee, Fla., this weekend for the Seminole Beach Bash. The dual match tournament hosted by Florida State on March 2-3 will mark the second tournament outing of the spring for head coach
Beth Van Fleet and the Sandy Panthers.
GSU is coming off an exciting opening weekend in Tampa, Fla., that saw the team matchup against three nationally ranked opponents. After falling to No. 11 FAU and No. 18 Arizona State, the Sandy Panthers posted back-to-back wins over host Tampa and No. 17 South Carolina. Newcomers
Savannah Ebarb and
Aree Keller made an immediate impact for the blue and white. Ebarb partnered with
Destiny White, garnering three wins over the weekend. Keller and partner
Lila Bordis found the dual clinching point in both GSU victories last weekend.
