No. 15 GSU Records 3-1 Performance in Regular Season Conclusion

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The No. 15 Sandy Panthers (22-12) finished regular season action at the Gamecock Grand Slam. Beth Van Fleet's squad tallied 3 victories, including two sweeps, over two-days. 

TOURNAMENT NOTES 
  • GSU opened the tournament with a 5-0 sweep over Sun Belt opponent, Coastal Carolina. With the win Georgia State went undefeated (8-0) in SBC play this regular season
  • Bella Ferary tallied her 100th career win with her victory over Coastal Carolina. 
  • The Panthers concluded Friday's action against Jacksonville University, resulting in another sweep. This marked the 9th 5-0 finish of the year. 
  • GSU fell to LSU, 4-1, Saturday afternoon. 
  • Georgia State defeated host South Carolina, 3-2, Saturday in the regular season finale. This marks the second victory over the Gamecocks this year. 
  • Savannah Ebarb and Destiny White helped propel the Sandys to victory over the Gamecocks with a win in the third position. This marked Ebarb's 25th win, matching the most wins by a freshman in program history. 

UP NEXT 
  • Georgia State will travel to Huntsville, Alabama to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. Action begins Thursday.
  • The Panthers will look to earn back-to-back Sun Belt titles and back-to-back-to-back conference titles. 
  • GSU garnered the inaugural Sun Belt Title in 2023 with a victory over Coastal Carolina in the finals.
  • In 2022, Georgia State defeated Florida International (FIU), securing the Conference USA Title.
