LYNCHBURG, -- Georgia State fought back from a 0-1 deficit to take down Liberty 2-1 Sunday (Sept. 1) on the road at Osborne Stadium. Gustavo Marques scored the Panthers' first goal of the season in the 50th minute, and Matthew Taylor scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute.

Liberty opened the scoring when Gora Gora scored in the 46th minute.
The Panthers leveled the match on a goal from Gustavo Marques -- his first goal of the season -- in the 50th minute.
Georgia State broke the 1-1 draw on Matthew Taylor's 72nd-minute goal, his first of the season. Justin McLean assisted the goal, his first assist of the season. The 2-1 score held to the end of the game.
