HATTIESBURG, MS. - The Panthers traveled to Southern Miss and Louisiana on the weekend, finishing 1-1 on the weekend. Georgia State took down Southern miss 4-1 and fell to Louisiana 1-4.

The Panthers started off strong as they took the doubles point with wins on courts 1 and 3. 

In singles play, Edward Tymes put up an impressive win on court 2, defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Gabriele Datei also took down his opponent on line 4 with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 win. Mckane Johnson clinched the win for the Panthers with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on court 5. 

The Panthers host VCU next on Friday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m.
