Two Panthers Earn SBC Post-Season Honors

ATALTNA— Junior Baran Soyler and senior Edward Tymes earn post-season All-Sun Belt awards, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Thursday afternoon. 
 
Soyler earned both and Men's Player to Watch and Singles All-Sun Belt First team honors after being a key contributor to Panthers' staff during the 2024-25 season.  Soyler's consistent results in singles contributed to key team wins throughout the season. The junior recorded an overall 10-6 record at the highest singles spot, collecting strong wins against Florida Atlantic, VCU and Furman.
 
 Soyler had a winning streak of fve matches in singles, with three of them being against conference opponents. He has been a key addition for the Panthers as a singles player, only losing one conference match throughout the season. 
 
Tymes earns Singles All-Sun Belt First team after has being a strong player for the Panthers at the number two spot throughout the entire season. The senior lost only four singles matches and came out with a total of ten wins. 
In conference play, Tymes dropped only one match, while taking three matches and going unfinished in the other three conference matchups. The junior contributed to key team wins, clinching matches for the Panthers in different occasions and performing well under pressure.
