STATESBORO, Ga.-- TK Kongthong finished tied for first overall to lead the Panthers to a third place finish at The Southern on Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers recorded a 905 team score through three rounds to finish third overall, only five strokes behind the No. 2 team.
Kongthong, a sophomore who finished with a first and second place finish in her freshman season, posted an even-par 216 (73-70-73) score to tie for the win. She recorded eight under-par holes, including back-to-back birdies in round two.
Sophomore
Lindsey Pak finished second on the Panthers' leaderboard, finishing tied for 20th overall with a 12-over par 72 228 (76-74-78) score. Pak birdied on six holes, including back-to-back birdies in round one.
Freshman
Grace Kalina made her collegiate debut with a 16-over par 232 (78-77-77) score with four birdies.
