ATLANTA – Georgia State beach volleyball continues competition on the road in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday, Feb. 26-27 at the Cactus Classic hosted by Arizona. 

The Sandy Panthers enter week two of competition off a 4-1 weekend at the FSU Unconquered Invitational, where they posted wins against North Alabama, UAB, Southeastern Louisiana and California State Bakersfield. 
 
Georgia State is set to open the Cactus Classic with an 11:00 a.m. ET meeting against Arizona State. Georgia State holds a 3-2 advantage over the Sun Devils. The Sandy Panthers will then face off against Oregon at 4:00 p.m. ET, marking only the second contest between the two teams. Georgia State looks to hold the series lead against the Ducks. 
 
Continuing on Saturday, Gerogia State will face Grand Canyon University at 12:15 p.m. ET before closig out the tournament against Arizona at 4:00 p.m. ET.  
 
The Sandy Panthers will open up March play with a trip to Conway, S.C. to compete in the Chanticleer Challenge hosted by Coastal Carolina on March 6-7.
