Overview: Amazing spring practice...very athletic...good shot blocker...gives us security with two very good goalkeepers...gained more valuable experience in the spring...has an outstanding work rate.

2007: Started in two games...posted 14 saves in 190 minutes of action...helped secure a 4-3 victory over Lipscomb and tallied seven saves against Florida Gulf Coast. 

2006: Saw action in one game against Jacksonville (9/4).

2005: Played in one game assisting on a goal against Lipscomb (9/17)...Tied for fourth in assists (1).

2004: Was a reserve on the team that advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament.

Prep: Played for Lakeside HS...Earned 10 shutouts and had a 0.58 GAA his junior year... Senior year posted 7 shutouts and 0.98 GAA in 13 games...Named MVP his junior and senior years...Teams were 15-5 as a senior and 15-4-1 as a junior for 30 wins over those two years and he had 17 combined shutouts...Also played for Brookwood and GSA teams under coaches Franklyn Lawson and Cambell Champen...Won 2000 State League title with club team...He was also recruited by both UAB and Nazarene University.

Personal: Son of Robin and Carol MacGowan...Born on March 1, 1986 in Atlanta, Ga... Has a younger sister, Sheena...Chose Georgia State due to its proximity to home...Became first person in extended family to play a Division I sport...Majoring in business administration.
