Charted an 8-4 record for singles with appearances at the first, second and third singles courts... Posted a team-high winning percentage for singles... Went 6-4 at the top singles court... Finished 1-0 at singles courts two and three... Teamed with teammate Pragnya Kumar at the first and second doubles courts and posted a 1-4 mark... Teamed twice with Ellie Aldrich at No. 3 doubles... Was named to the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team for efforts on the court and in the classroom

Spring 2022
Chivu charted a 12-3 record at the top singles court... Earned All-Sun Belt Singles First Team honors for the spring... Earned a 12-2 record on the year partnering with Pragnya Kumar at doubles court No. 3...  Charted two additional victories with Andreea Stanescu at the top doubles court... Chivu was named Sun Belt Player of the Week for the second time in her career on March 30... The senior helped lead the Panthers to a historic turnaround season that saw the team post a 17-6 final record for the spring and claim a share of the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Championship... Chivu was selected to the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team following her final season with the Panthers

Spring 2021
Chivu recorded a 3-10 performance in singles action…Competed in the top position in each of her appearances...Earned wins over Charleston Southern and Mercer in non-conference action...Notched a 1-3 record in Sun Belt action with a victory over Georgia Southern...Accumulated a 2-11 record in doubles play...Partnered with Maddy Frediani and Andreea Stanescu...Took down the No. 26 pair from Florida with Stanescu...Earned an additional doubles win with Frediani over Kennesaw State

Fall 2020
Georgia State did not compete during the Fall of 2020 

Spring 2020 
Played position one in each match as a sophomore and earned an 8-3 record...Tied Andreea Stanescu for the most wins on the team in singles action...Defeated No. 79 Taylor Russo of Auburn and No. 106 Paolo Diaz Delgado of VCU...Earned Sun Belt Player of the Week honors on Feb. 5….Compiled a 6-6 record in doubles play...Played position one in doubles in each match...Partnered with Andreea Stanescu and Angel Carney...Season was shortened prior to Sun Belt action due to the COVID-19. 

Fall 2019 
Finished the fall season 4-4 in singles play...Defeated opponents from Florida Atlantic University, Wofford, and Stetson...Defeated Marina Alcaide of FIU to advance to the Round of 16 of the ITA Southeast Regional Championship...Finished 2-4 in her doubles flights

Spring 2019
Named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and to the Sun Belt All-Singles First Team after earning a 12-7 record... Chivu was 8-2 against conference opposition with all seven wins coming in the number one singles flight... Defeated #47 Andie Daniell of Alabama in number one singles... Finished with a 10-10 record playing in the top two doubles flights, including six wins in the top flight with Daniela Ramirez.

Fall 2018
Finished the fall season with a record of 8-4 in singles play... Defeated #124 Momoka Horiguchi of UTA on October 7 to win the D Flight of the SMU Invitational... Defeated opposition from Miami and Ole Miss to win the Consolation Bracket of the Marliss Gruver Memorial Invitational... Was victorious in her first five collegiate matches... Finished 5-4 in doubles play with partner Damira Muminovic... Won the Consolation Bracket of the Marliss Gruver Memorial Invitational by defeating two pairs from Auburn... Also recorded wins over pairs from Houston and South Florida. 

Prep
Won the TC Prim Cup- Bucharest U18 tournament in 2017... Won the U16 Tennis Europe Junior Tour Mamaia Idu in 2015... Three time National Championship of Romania winner, 2010, 2012, 2014. 

Personal
Born August 8, 2000... Daughter of Liviu Christian and Luminita Chivu... Sister to older brother, Alin Christian... Enjoys traveling... Plans to major in Sports Administration and would like to become a professional tennis player
