PREP: Dynamic athlete at quarterback who led Mainland High School to the FSHAA Class 3S state title ... Amassed 380 yards of total offense and led a game-winning drive in the final minute as Mainland defeated St. Augustine 21-19 on a last-second field goal to win its first state title in two decades ... Passed for 1,569 yards, rushed for 957 yards and accounted for 29 touchdowns for his senior season ... Nominated for Volusia-Flagler Offensive Player of the Year ... As a junior at Flagler Palm Coast, he completed 82 of 157 pass attempts (52.2 percent) for 1,516 yards with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. Also carried the ball 120 times for 799 yards (6.7 ypc) and 13 touchdowns ... In track, he posted personal best times of 10.83 in the 100 meters and 48.46 seconds in the 400 meters, qualifying for the FHSAA Class 4A state finals in the 400 his sophomore and junior years.
