Daniela Ramirez is originally from Merida, Venezuela. She grew up playing tennis at the age of 4 and trained to become the number one player in the nation under 14s, 16s and 18s. In her junior career, she played the COSAT tour in South America, becoming number 1 under 16 years old.  At the age of 16, she was ranked top 400 in the ITF junior ranking. She was part of the national team in all junior categories as well as in Fed Cup (2020). When she turned 17, she joined Georgia State Women’s tennis team where she helped them win two conference championships, became captain and earned All-Conference First Team Singles in her senior year. She earned a B.I.S in Sports Administration at Georgia State in December 2019.

In January 2020, she started coaching at Universal Tennis Academy and as a volunteer coach for Georgia State women’s tennis. Six months later, she decided to pursue her MBA at Georgia State with a concentration in Organizational Management because she would like to develop her leadership skills to help organizations create a culture of excellence and develop the next generation of leaders.

Her parents are sports lovers and that is how her love for sports began. She has two brothers who also play tennis. She loves to work out, travel and spend time with her friends.
