2025-26: Appeared in five events during the 2025-26 cross country season… Opened the season placing 13th in the 2025 Julius Johnson Invitational (Aug. 30)... Clocked a personal best 25:40.1 in the 6k race during the Georgia Tech XC Invitational (Oct. 3)... Also, clocked a personal best 20:34.1in the 5k race during the Sun Belt Conference XC Conference Championships 2025 (Oct. 31)... Saw action in four meets during the indoor season... Ran a career-best 6:04.18 in the mile at the UAB Blazer Invitational (Jan. 9)... Set a personal record in the 3000-meter with a time of 11:54.10 during the Samford Open (Jan. 17)... Finished in the top 10 with a personal-best time of 20:20.19 in the 5000-meter at the Samford Bulldog Invite (Feb. 13).
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterwinner at Gregori high school... Reached sectionals during sophomore and senior year... Finished top 7 in the CCAL conference during senior year... recorded career bests of 5:45 in a 1600m, 12:12 in a 3200m, and 20:51 in a 5K.
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 5, 2007 to parents Jason and Kelly Tooze... Intends to major in exercise science.
