Adam Simmons joined the Georgia State men’s basketball staff in April 2026 as an assistant coach under head coach Jon Cremins.

He comes to Atlanta after spending one season as the Director of Operations at Longwood University.

Before his time at Longwood, Simmons served as a graduate assistant at Vanderbilt, where he worked under Cremins with the Commodores. He spent two seasons on staff during the 2023–24 and 2024–25 campaigns, contributing to daily operations, player development, and scouting.

A 2023 graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Simmons earned his bachelor’s degree before continuing his education at Vanderbilt, where he completed his master’s degree in leadership and organizational performance in 2025.
