Georgia State University Athletics

Amanda Hawkins joined the staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2014. In her current role, she works primarily with the court volleyball team and serves as insurance coordinator for our student athletes.
 
She received her M.S. in Sports Medicine from Georgia State in 2014. As a graduate assistant, she provided coverage for football, men’s soccer, and cross country/track.
 
A native of Charleston, S.C., Hawkins earned a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2012 after working with football, baseball, and men’s soccer.
 
Hawkins is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the State of Georgia and lives in Atlanta, Ga.
