Aydin Melamed joined the Georgia State men’s basketball staff as the Director of Player Personnel in April 2026 under head coach Jon Cremins.

Prior to Georgia State, Melamed was a graduate assistant with the University of Miami men’s basketball program beginning in July 2024, following two seasons as the team’s head manager.

A graduate of Miami, Melamed earned his bachelor’s degree in sports administration. In his role, he assisted with opponent scouting, on-court player development, recruiting efforts and film coding.

During his time as head manager, he was part of the Hurricanes’ historic runs to the Elite Eight and Final Four.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Melamed is the son of Todd and Hardeep Melamed and has one sister, Laylah.
