Gordon Hunter joined Georgia State Athletics in March of 2025 as General Manager.
Previously, Hunter served as the Associate General Manager at Baylor from 2023 to 2025 and General Manager at Oral Roberts from 2021 to 2023.
Hunter was the Director of Development for Calvary Day School in Savannah from 2016-2021 and a State Farm Insurance Agent Aspirant from 2015-2016.
After earning his degree, Hunter worked for his Alma mater, Georgia Southern, as the Special Projects Coordinator for the GS Athletic Foundation from 2009-12, then a Director of Athletic Marketing from 2012-14. He was then the Assistant Director of Development for the Parker College of Business from 2014-15.
Hunter graduated from Georgia Southern with his Bachelor's in Public Relations in 2008 before earning his Master's in Sport Management in 2016.
The Savannah, Georgia, native married Hannah (née Nelson) in 2014. The couple have three children: Nelson, Ford and Banks.
