Isaiah Dowling joined the Georgia State women's basketball staff in fall 2026.

Dowling spent the 2025-26 season as Video and Player Development Coordinator at Long Island University-Brooklyn, where he managed film for all practices, games and workouts and prepared detailed opponent breakdowns for the coaching staff using Sportscode. He served as the program's lead scout for several conference games, coached a scout team to replicate opposing schemes in practice and handled postgame film breakdown. He also assisted the Recruiting Coordinator by compiling film on prospective student-athletes and supporting official visits. During that season, LIU finished as Northeast Conference runner-up with a 21-win season, a 15-plus win turnaround from the previous year.

For part of that season, Dowling also served as Interim Director of Basketball Operations, overseeing all team travel logistics, managing and forecasting the program's budget, and keeping players and staff updated on scheduling changes through Teamworks.

Before that, Dowling spent three years (2022-25) as Head Student Manager at James Madison University. He traveled on 32 road trips across three seasons, assisting with equipment, meals, video and other travel logistics, and led a group of 10 managers, training new staff and building semester practice and game schedules. He was responsible for film setup and in-practice filming using Hudl SportsCode, and assisted the coaching staff daily with workouts, recruiting visits and office operations.

Dowling earned his bachelor's degree in Sport and Recreation Management, with a minor in General Business, from James Madison University in 2025.
