Stanlee Gardner joined the Georgia State University athletics department as an academic advisor in September 2026. She currently works with the Softball and Men's Tennis programs within the Office of Academic Support and Student-Athlete Development (P.A.S.S.).Â
Gardner most recently served as a Student-Athlete Success Coach at Overtime Elite where she monitored academic progress and designed leadership and career-readiness programming for elite high school basketball student-athletes. Prior to that, Gardner worked as an Academic Advisor for athletics at Georgia Tech, advising Division I student-athletes across six sports.Â
Gardner's background also includes academic advising and program coordination at the University of Southern California, as well as experience in financial aid administration at USC and Kennesaw State University. Gardner began her career in athletics working for the Los Angeles Clippers.Â
Gardner holds a B.S. In Psychology from Jacksonville State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Relations from Middle Georgia State University. While at JSU, Gardner was also a member of the Marching Ballerinas dance team.Â
