Stephanie Weiss returned to Georgia State to serve as the Director of Equipment in March 2025.
Previously, Weiss served as the Assistant Director of Equipment at Georgia State in 2022, where she worked under the previous leadership of the GSU football team, under former head coach Shawn Elliott. She was elevated to the assistant director position after working as an equipment manager during the 2018 and 2019 season.
While working as an equipment manager, Weiss had the opportunity to experience the 2019 UPSET at Tennessee, which marks as her favorite memory at Georgia State.
Between serving her two roles as assistant director and equipment manager, Weiss worked as an equipment GA for Arkansas State while working toward her graduate degree. She obtained her M.S. in Sport Administration from Arkansas State in 2021.
The native of Roswell, Ga. earned her bachelor's degree from Georgia State in 2020, where she worked 3 seasons as a student manager for football.
