Appeared in 24 games primarily as a pinch runner… Was 1-for-2 at the plate, recording first collegiate hit and RBI on March 3 against Detroit… Scored five runs on the season.

Prep:

Attended Northwest Whitfield High School in Tunnel Hill, Ga... Played outfield and shortstop for four years under coach Jason Brooker... Was named to the all-region first team and to the 2016 Georgia Dugout All-State team after a strong senior season at Whitfield… As a junior, she won her team’s Impact Player Award and was first team all-region, second team all-area, second team Best of Preps and a member of the Lady Bruin 400 club... As a sophomore, she was named the Region 7AAAA Player of the Year and was selected first team all-area and all-state honorable mention… She was first team all-area, honorable mention all-region, Northwest’s Rookie of the year as a freshman while leading her team to 7-4A Region runner-up and a 4A state title… She also competed on the track team for three years in high school and earned many academic honors, including spots on the Honor Roll and scholar-athlete recognition.

Was born Nov. 4th, 1998 in Dalton, Ga... She is the daughter of Adam and Jennifer Ward and has a sister named Katelyn.
