QUICK NOTES
•    Georgia State continues its four-game road stretch with a trip to the Carolinas. The Panthers face Furman in Greenville, S.C., Thursday night and UNCG in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday.
•    GSU split a pair of games last weekend at the UTEP Thanksgiving Classic, beating NM State 59-51 on Friday and falling to UTEP 71-68 on Saturday.
•    The win against NM State on Nov. 29 marked win No. 600 in GSU program history.
•    Taylor Henderson posted 31 points and Shaq Miller-McCray grabbed 20 rebounds in a loss to FIU on Nov. 11. It was the most points scored by a Panther since 2007 and tied for fifth-most rebounds in a single-game in GSU history.
•    GSU returns its top two scorers from last season in redshirt junior Jada Lewis (13.6 ppg) and redshirt senior Allison Johnson (11.7 ppg). Lewis was second-team All-Sun Belt last year while Johnson was named to the third team and was the Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year.
•    Jada Lewis was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team. Georgia State was picked sixth in the conference poll.
•    Only four Panthers that saw action last season return for the 2019-20 campaign. GSU welcomes 11 newcomers including six true freshmen.
•    Georgia State is coming off a historical 2018-19 season in which first-year head coach Gene Hill guided the Panthers to their winningest season since 2003-04 and first postseason appearance (WBI) since 2002-03.
•    Gene Hill's 17 wins last season were the most by a GSU coach in their first season since Joyce Patterson won 28 games as co-head coach in the 1980-81 season.
•    Georgia State made 185 3-point field goals last season to set a new GSU single-season record.
•    In 2018-19, GSU won seven more conference contests than the previous season. Only four Division-I programs had a bigger win improvement in conference play.
• Georgia State will play a challenging non-conference schedule that includes hosting ranked Maryland on Dec. 18.
