Panthers Take Win Streak to ULM Saturday

GSU looks to make it four wins in a row.

•    Georgia State takes its three-game win streak to Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, La., Saturday to play ULM at 1 p.m. ET.
•    GSU defeated Louisiana 61-53 Thursday in Lafayette. Shaq Miller-McCray scored nine points with 12 rebounds and three blocks. Moriah Taylor scored 12 points and Joelle Johnson finished with 11.
•    Taylor Hosendove was named this week's Sun Belt Player of the Week for her performances in the wins over Arkansas State and Little Rock.
•    Jada Lewis needs six points to become GSU's 22nd member of the 1,000-point club. 
•    Shaq Miller-McCray has 36 blocks in 12 Sun Belt games.
•    Shaq Miller-McCray leads the Sun Belt and ranks No. 19 in D-I with 61 blocked shots. The senior's 7.5 rebounds per game is seventh in the Sun Belt.
•    Taylor Hosendove continues to be GSU's leading rebounder at 8.6 per game. She ranks third in the conference in total rebounds per game.
•    The win against NM State on Nov. 29 marked win No. 600 in GSU program history.
•    Jada Lewis was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team. Georgia State was picked sixth in the conference poll.
•    Only four Panthers that saw action last season return for the 2019-20 campaign. GSU welcomes 11 newcomers including six true freshmen.
•    Georgia State is coming off a historical 2018-19 season in which first-year head coach Gene Hill guided the Panthers to their winningest season since 2003-04 and first postseason appearance (WBI) since 2002-03.
•    Gene Hill's 17 wins last season were the most by a GSU coach in their first season since Joyce Patterson won 28 games as co-head coach in the 1980-81 season.
•    Georgia State made 185 3-point field goals last season to set a new GSU single-season record.
