GEORGIA STATE – The Panthers will travel to face the second place team in the conference, Troy Trojans at the Troy Softball Complex for a three- game weekend series starting Friday at 7 p.m. ET. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+. 

GEORGIA STATE NOTES
Junior Bailee Richardson continues to lead Georgia State with a .353 batting average to go along with nine home runs, 22 RBI per game, and a .735 slugging percentage. She leads the Sun Belt in home runs and RBI per game. 

Under first-year head coach Angie Nicholson, Georgia State has been aggressive on the basepaths, ranking No. 9 in the nation (second in Sun Belt) with 2.31 stolen bases per game. Emily Brown leads the way with 16 stolen bases.

TROY AND GEORGIA STATE
Georgia State's (12-17, 3-3 Sun Belt) last played game was March 20th against Appalachian State, winning the series (2-1).
Troy (20-9, 6-3 Sunbelt) swept Georgia Southern in last weekend's series.
