Buck’s Two-Hitter Highlights Day 1 of Bubly Invitational

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Georgia State softball team split a pair of games on Friday to open the Bubly Invitational hosted by Florida.

The story of the day was Georgia State's pitching staff. In Game 1, redshirt-junior Emily Buck allowed just two hits to lead the Panthers to a 3-0 win over Tennessee State. The win gave Georgia State its fourth win in the last five games.

The Panthers are in the middle of a stretch of four games against SEC opponents over a seven-game period and seven games against ranked opponents over a set of 10 games.
