CONWAY, SC - Friday evening the Panthers took a tough loss to Coastal Carolina in the series opener.

Bailee Richardson helped your Panthers score first as she hit her tenth home run of the season off Pitcher Kaitlin Beasley- Polko. Beasley- Polko had previously walked Skylar Chavez when Richardson hit it over center field for a two RBI home run in the first inning. 

The Chanticleers answered back in inning one scoring on a sacrifice fly with a runner on third. Then again in the third, when Abbey Montoya hit a two RBI home run to take the lead over the Panthers, 3-2.

That was the end of scoring for either team, the Chanticleers took the victory ending a 12 game losing streak. 

The Panthers will face the Chanticleers tomorrow at 2 pm. Game will air on ESPN+.
