Sun Belt Basketball Tourneys Begin Tuesday

The Georgia State men's and women's basketball teams travel to Pensacola, Fla. next week for the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Championship, which begins Tuesday.
 
All 14 Sun Belt Conference men's and women's teams will compete in the single-elimination tournament with the two tournament champions earning automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament. All games will take place at the Pensacola Bay Center.
 
Georgia State women's basketball, the No. 12 seed, is set to play No. 13 South Alabama on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The winner of that game advances to play in Wednesday's second round.
 
The Georgia State men's basketball team, the No. 14 seed, will face No. 10 Texas State later that night, tipping off at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The winner will advance to Thursday's second round.
