ATLANTA - Georgia State (6-11) blasted three homeruns in win over Tennessee State (8-6) in extra inning on the final day of the Panther Invitational. The Panthers fell to the Tigers in a late Friday night game but would overcome the deficit in game two.

Tennessee State got on the board first with a three-run homerun after a hit by pitch and a double put runners on the bases.

Emily Brown, who went two for four, found contact in the third with a triple but was left stranded.

The Tigers had bases loaded in the fourth but
Elle Doolittle brought the heat and struck out two batters to get out of the jam.

The Panthers finally got on the board after
Chloe Nadler stole home on a first and third situation.
Carolyn Deady homered to bring the deficit within one, her first of the season.

Abby Brown came to the plate and blasted her first homerun of the season to tie up the ballgame.

International tie breaker was used in extra innings, both teams capitalize off the advantage. Down one in the bottom of the eighth, with
Ashton Schroyer on third,
Bailee Richardson blasted a two-run walk- off homerun to win the game.Â

Doolittle improved to 1-2 after earning the win, relieving Hallie Adam down three runs in the third inning.

The Panthers were 2-3 on the weekend at the Panther Invitational at GSU. They will be back in action on Tuesday, February 28 as they travel to Alabama State. First pitch is at 5:00 p.m.
