The Panthers used an 11-0 run early in the second half to take the lead for good and then held off the Eagles down the stretch, thanks in part to a huge blocked shot by Mann and a charge taken by Tucker in the final 90 seconds.

> Against Sun Belt leader Southern Miss on Saturday, the Panthers had two shots to tie the game in the final two minutes before falling 79-71. All five starters scored in double figures for GSU, led by Brenden Tucker with 17 points.
