Box Score MOBILE – Georgia State (10-15, 0-2 Sun Belt) fell to South Alabama (19-9, 3-0) on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the series.
 
The Panthers started off hot with three hits on four at bats in the first inning. A two rbi double by Bailee Richardson and a rbi single by Carolyn Deady helped to put the panthers on the board first.
 
The Panthers then extended their lead in the second inning with a base hit and a sac fly by Chloe Nadler.
 
Down three in the bottom of the third the Jaguars smashed two home runs and scored seven runs on six hits and an error for the victory.
 
Emily Brown who is currently on a three-game hit streak went 2 for 3 and scored two runs. Richardson was 1-3 at the plate, earning two rbi and a double.

The loss was given to Hallie Adams(2-5) after she took over the circle in the third inning up 5-2, letting up four runs on three hits before being relieved by Elle Doolittle. 
 
The Panthers will be back in action at home on Wednesday, March 22 to take on the Mercer Bears in a midweek doubleheader. First game is set for 3:00 p.m. pitch.
