Foos Ties Shutout Record in Panthers 1-0 Win Over Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, -- Georgia State secured a 1-0 victory over Louisiana on Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Home Bank Track/Soccer Facility in Lafayette. Aaliyah Faddoul scored the game's lone goal in the 18th minute, assisted by Emily Glenn, as the Panthers held onto their early lead. Goalkeeper Jaddah Foos recorded three saves and earned her 22nd career shutout, tying the Georgia State record for career shutouts. The Panthers outshot Louisiana 17-5, with seven shots on target, dominating possession and defending their lead throughout the match.

How it Happened

Georgia State broke the 0-0 tie when Aaliyah Faddoul scored her seventh goal of the season in the 17th minute, assisted by Emily Glenn. The goal was the only scored in the match.
