JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - After defeating North Carolina Central 93-79 on Friday, the Panthers travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the Jacksonville Classic. Georgia State will face Austin Peay on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m., and Tulsa on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m.

Nick McMullen, who leads the conference and ranks 10th nationally in rpg, the Panthers rank 2nd in the conference and 39th nationally for rebounds per game with 42.20. Georgia State also ranks top ten in the Sun Belt in assist/turnover ratio (3rd/ 1.19), scoring offense (1st/ 80.6), assists per game (7th/ 14.0), fastbreak points (3rd/ 13.60), three-point percentage (4th/ 35.4) and free throw percentage (7th/ 68.4). Â
Three Panthers (Cesare Edwards, Zarique Nutter and Nick McMullen) scored double-doubles in the season opener against Ball State (Nov. 4) to rank second in the Sun Belt for double-doubles. Nick McMullen leads the Sun Belt in almost every rebounding category, leading the conference in total rebounds (52, ranks 49th nationally), total rebounds per-game (10.4, ranks 10th nationally) and defensive rebounds per-game (8.00/ 7th nationally).Â
