Box Score 2 ORLANDO, FL-- Georgia State softball swept Howard after a 4-1 win on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers finished day two of the UCF Black and Gold Classic with a 2-2 record.

The Panthers took an early 3-0 lead in the second inning to take down Howard 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers (2-1) are 2-0 in the UCF Black and Gold Classic against the Bison.
The Panthers took an early lead in the bottom of the second inning after
Bella Morton to scored
Caroline Brownlee on a single down the left field line. With bases loaded,
Ashton Schroyer singled up the middle to send
Bella Morton and
Carolyn Deady home, giving the Panthers a 3-0 advantage early in the game
Howard scored its first run of the game in the third inning, but the Panthers responded later in the fifth inning by tacking on another run from
Chloe Middlebrooks. The Panthers held the Bison through the seventh, ultimately taking their second win of the tournament.
Vs. Seattle:
Seattle took an early 3-0 lead after scoring a three-run homer in the top of the first inning. The Panthers fought back, scoring one, but ultimately fell 5-1 to the Red Hawks.
The Panthers close out their trip to the UCF Black and Gold on Feb. 11 at 12:30 p.m. as they face UCF.
