AUBURN, Ala. --Georgia State ran into a buzzsaw in the circle on Thursday as senior Maddie Penta tossed a perfect game for Auburn, leading the No. 25 Tigers past the Panthers 8-0.
Junior Emily Hodnett (0-2) started and took the loss in the circle for Georgia State (5-12).
Junior Alice Thomas led the way offensively for the Panthers, going 0-for-0 in the ballgame.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Georgia State managed to get two balls out of the infield in the loss.

» Georgia State pitchers faced 30 Auburn hitters in the game, allowing seven ground balls and seven fly balls while striking out two.
