JoJo Jackson homered in his fourth straight game and the Panthers hit four home runs in a 13-6 loss at USC Upstate (33-20) in the final non-conference game of the season at Harley Park.
Georgia State (24-29) third baseman
Will Mize went hitless in the game to snap his 21-game hitting streak, one shy of the Georgia State record.
Jackson, the junior outfielder, did not start the game, but hit a pinch-hit, solo homer in the seventh inning for his 14th of the season.
Luke Boynton,
Dylan Strickland and
Maximus Martin also hit solo homer for the Panthers.Â
Boynton's homer is No. 37 of his career, good for sixth place in GSU history.
Georgia State returns home to conclude the regular season by hosting Old Dominion in a Sun Belt Conference series, Thursday through Saturday at the GSU Baseball Complex.
