Panthers Fall 0-2 at Ole Miss

OXFORD, MISS. -- Georgia State came up short against Ole Miss 0-2 Thursday (Aug. 22) on the road at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. 

How it Happened

The Panthers kept Ole Miss off the scoreboard in the first half before surrendering two goals in the second half. Jaddah Foos led the Panthers with five saves. The Panthers registered 11 shots in the loss, none of them on goal. Georgia State faced 15 Ole Miss shots, seven of them on goal.  Emily Glenn led the way with four shot attempts. Aaliyah Faddoul also registered three attempted shots. 

Game Notes

  • Georgia State received one yellow card.
  • 582 spectators attended the game.
  • Jaddah Foos totaled five saves for the Panthers out of 15 total Rebels shots.


Georgia State fell to 0-1-1 on the season with the loss.

The Panthers return home for Alumni Night, taking on SEC foe Florida on Thursday, Aug. 29, at the GSU Soccer Complex.
