Panthers Look to Keep Their Winning Streak Going at the Tulane/UNO Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, LA. - After going undefeated and only losing one set at the Tiger Invitational Tournament, Georgia State travels to New Orleans to compete in the Tulane/UNO Tournament. The Panthers will face Louisiana Tech, Tulane and New Orleans.

The Panthers will face Louisiana Tech to open the tournament on Friday Sept. 20 at 11:00 a.m. Georgia State will then face Tulane at 7:00 p.m.  On Saturday, the Panthers will take on New Orleans at 11:00 a.m. Georgia State has won seven consecutive matches and lost only two sets at the past two tournaments. The Panthers look to keep their winning streak alive at the Tulane/UNO Tournament. 

Head coach Flavia Siqueira travels to her third away tournament at Georgia State after serving as the head coach at Auburn Montogmery for five seasons.

Georgia State will be taking on Louisiana Tech for the first time in program history. Georgia State and Tulane will compete in their third-ever meeting. In their last meeting, Georgia State took the match 3-2 at Tulane's home court in September 1998. The Panthers face New Orleans for the second time in program history after defeating them 3-1 in August 2023.

Georgia State is set to open conference competition next at Arkansas State. The Panthers will play the Red Wolves twice, Friday Sept. 27 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday Sept. 28 at 1:00 p.m.
