NORFOLK, VA.-- After defeating Old Dominion just one week earlier, Georgia State heads to Norfolk, Va. to face the Monarchs on Saturday evening at Chartway Arena.
Georgia State and Old Dominion are meeting for the 24th time in program history. The Panthers are 8-15 in the series after defeating the Monarchs at home on Feb. 13, 2025.

Georgia State defeated Appalachian State 65-70 on Feb. 15 to secure a 2-0 week in the GSU Convocation Center.
Cesare Edwards averaged 26.5 ppg, including a double-double, to earn Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors. Â
Senior Cesare Edwards led the Panthers with a career-high 29 points and 11 rebounds in the 97-75 win over Old Dominion (Feb. 13). The Panthers shot an impressive 65.5% from the field and 53.3% from three-point range and senior Toneari Lane was nearly perfect from deep, knocking down seven three-pointers on his way to 21 points.
The Panthers went undefeated in the 2024-25 SBC-MAC Challenge after defeating Buffalo 80-75 on the road on Feb. 8. Previously this season, Georgia State defeated Ball State on Nov. 4 to tip off the Challenge.Â
Senior Guard Zarique Nutter and senior forward Nick McMullen both scored their thousandth career point in the Panthers' 97-64 win over ULM (Feb. 5).Â
After falling to Marshall at home just one week earlier, the Panthers took down the Herd 85-81 on the road on Jan. 30.Â
The Panthers hit a 3-0 win streak at home after defeating Louisiana (Jan. 4), Georgia Southern (OT win, Jan. 8) and Coastal Carolina (Jan. 11).Â
