ATLANTA-- After solidifying the No. 8 spot in the Sun Belt tournament, Georgia State will compete in game five of the tournament, the Sun Belt announced Friday night.
The Panthers will sit out for the first two days of the tournament before playing in game five on Thursday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Panthers will face the winner of game three, played between Georgia Southern and the winner of game one (Southern Miss vs. Coastal Carolina).
The 2025 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will take place March 4-10 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla., with all 14 Sun Belt institutions competing in the single-elimination tournament.
All games will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the championship game televised by ESPN2. Local radio coverage on WRAS-FM 88.5 and/or WGTJ-FM 97.5 and
the GSU athletics app.
