Panthers Fall in Midweek Matchup with Kennesaw

Box Score Kennesaw, Ga. – A big swing from the bat of Colin Hynek gave the Panthers an early lead at Kennesaw State on Tuesday night, but the visitors could not steal a victory as they were defeated 6-5 at the hands of the Owls.

Hynek got the Panthers' offense rolling early when he brought home Kaleb Freeman and Jesse Donohoe with a three-run home run in the top of the first. Georgia State padded their lead with a run in the top of the seventh, but the Owls scored a pair after the stretch to send the teams into the eighth tied at 5-5.
