ATLANTA --Freshman Ryleigh Garrett went 1-for-2 with an RBI for the Georgia State Panthers in an 8-1 loss to the JMU Dukes on Saturday.

Freshman Sydney Garrett (0-1) started and took the loss in the circle for Georgia State (10-29, ).

In the batter's box, the Panthers were paced by freshman Ryleigh Garrett, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a walk and an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Trailing 3-0, the Panthers first put runs on the board in the third inning. Georgia State got an RBI single from freshman Ryleigh Garrett, scoring sophomore Payton OConnor from third base. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as JMU added five runs to their tally on the way to an 8-1 final.
