Georgia State Announces 2025-26 Women's Basketball Roster

ATLANTA – Georgia State women's basketball has officially rolled out its 2025–26 roster, as announced by head coach Gene Hill on Tuesday. 

Georgia State returns a dynamic group of playmakers from last season's 17-win squad, led by junior guard Crystal Henderson, who started all 33 games and averaged 11.5 points, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Senior Kaleigh Addie adds experience after averaging 10.3 points and hitting a career-high 45 three-pointers, while graduate guard Cheyenne Holloman is back after making 21 starts and shooting 80% from the free throw line. 

The Panthers also returned sharpshooting junior Eghosa Obasuyi, who led the team from deep with a 38.8% three-point clip. 

A talented newcomer class of six joins the program this fall, including two freshmen and four transfers. 


Ana Ramos Pires | Jr. | G | 6-2 | Garden City CC | Sao Paulo, Brazil 

Pires started 60 games across two seasons at Garden City Community College and totaled 531 points in her career. She averaged 10.4 points per game in 2023–24 and 7.3 in 2024–25, shooting 45.4% from the field and 66.4% from the line. She posted a career-high 24 points in a single contest. 


Ari Dyson | Jr. | F | 6-1 | Luella HS/Mercer/Trinity Valley CC | Locust Grove, Ga. 

Dyson returns to Division I basketball after a breakout season at Trinity Valley Community College, where she earned Region XIV All-Conference Honorable Mention honors and helped the team win a conference title. She posted a career-high 30 points in a non-conference win over LSU-Eunice.  

As a freshman at Mercer, she appeared in 16 games, shooting 50% from the field and collected 13 rebounds.  

At Luella High School, she was named Co-Region Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, GBCA-GACA All-Star, Dacula Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team and Most Outstanding Player in the MLK Holiday Classic. She was also a Kelly Memorial Classic selection, LHS Hoop Club Showcase MVP, and joined the 1,000-Point Club. 


Gabbie Grooms | So. | G | 5-9 | Trinity CS/Georgia Tech | Sharpsburg, Ga.   

Grooms transfers to Georgia State after appearing in 11 games for Georgia Tech, where she shot 36.4% from beyond the arc and 75% from the free-throw line.  

A high school star at Trinity Christian, she collected over 2,000 points and recorded 700+ career rebounds. She was a three-time Region Player of the Year, a two-time GBCAA All-Star and was named the 4A All-State Player of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She averaged 19.3 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. Grooms hit a career-high with 45-point triple-double with 13 rebounds and 10 assists. She also helped her team to two Final Four appearances and two regional titles. 


Grace Lanier | Fr. | G | 5-4 | Xaverian HS | Brooklyn, N.Y.   

Lanier was a four-time All-League basketball honoree at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn. She averaged 18 points and 5 assists per game and scored a career-high 31 points in a single outing. She was a city finalist in 2024 and played AAU basketball with NYC New Heights. The five-sport athlete also earned three straight All-League selections in cross country and qualified for the state finals in 2024. 


Nari Powers | So. | G/F | 6-1 | Warren Township HS | Salt Lake City CC | Gurnee, Ill. 

Powers earned All-Conference honors as a freshman at Salt Lake City Community College after averaging 9.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. She also helped her team win a regional title and reach the NJCAA national tournament.  

In high school, she was a three-time All-County and All-Conference selection at Warren Township and Carmel Catholic. Powers averaged 8.0, 10.0 and 11.5 points per game from her freshman to senior seasons and recorded a season-high 32-point game during her senior year. 


Savanah Robinson-Holmes | Fr. | G | 5-7 | Langston Hughes HS | Fairburn, Ga.   

Robinson-Holmes averaged 12 points per game as a senior and 11 points per game as a sophomore across her high school career at Langston Hughes and Mount Vernon Presbyterian. She recorded a standout performance by hitting eight three-pointers in a single game. A two-time GHSA Final Four participant, she helped lead her teams to back-to-back State Championship appearances. She graduated with honors.
